Class One (1A, 1P, 1C)learned about harvesting local vegatables and how to use local foods to make a picnic. Watch their slide show! Class Two plannned and made sandwiches. See what they did! They also wrote reports. Class 5A took their picnic to Happy Valley. See it here! Class 5/6 were inspired to make an Orkney Omelette with local ingredients. Celebrity chefs in training! Class 7 baked bannocks and made shelters at Muddisdale. See how they got on! Class 7A visited the Peedie sea and made biscuits.

Glaitness Green Swans are a group of elected pupils who promote environmentally friendly ways of living to our School Community and families. We have achieved the highest level through the national Eco-Schools awards.

We lead and encourage our community to continue improving ways of living through the ten topics which make us "green".
